Opening in October 2019, the highly anticipated Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica marks the hotel company’s second Caribbean venture, with bookings opening next spring.
Located in Douglas Bay on the northwest side of the island, the 152-room luxury resort is surrounded by Dominica’s Cabrits National Park, giving guests a contemporary experience in the midst of nature.
It will offer three international restaurants, a full-service spa, fitness centre, three pools, 24-hour room service, two all-weather tennis courts, watersports, a private lake, children’s club, outdoor amphitheatre, three meeting rooms plus a board room, pre-function space, outdoor function space, and a hiking trail in the park.
Michael Schoonewagen, general manager for Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica, said: “Bringing this project to fruition is another remarkable milestone for Kempinski Hotels and we’re thrilled to finally share our long-awaited opening date. We’re especially proud of this property because it will give travelers the chance to experience Dominica like never before, bringing together Kempinski’s timeless opulence with the destination’s pristine, preserved landscape to create a transcendent experience where luxury meets nature.”
