Joni Rein leads VIVA Cruises’ push into the North American market

FORT LAUDERDALE — VIVA Cruises is bringing its four-star river cruise product into the North American market with operations led by Joni Rein, who most recently headed up Scenic Group USA.

The cruise line has opened sales to the North American travel trade for its fleet of 10 premium river cruise vessels that sail the Seine, Rhine, Main, Danube, Vltava, Elbe, Moselle, Rhone rivers and Black Sea.

Rein will oversee the North American launch under an agreement reached with VIVA to include development of strategic travel trade partnerships providing a foundation for swift growth in the largest river cruise consumer market globally.

Joni is a well-respected industry veteran and her knowledge of the market and how our brand best aligns to the North American river cruiser will undoubtedly accelerate our market share.”
