Ireland welcomes Air Canada’s return to Dublin

TORONTO — Ireland is counting down the days until Air Canada resumes service to Dublin this summer.

Following news or Air Canada’s restored international summer network, Tourism Ireland’s Sandra Moffatt, Manager-Canada, says the destination is “ready to roll out the green carpet and welcome Canadian visitors with our famous warm Irish welcome.”

Air Canada’s expanded Summer 2022 international schedule will comprise 34 routes across the Atlantic and Pacific, including Vancouver-Dublin starting June 1 and Montreal-Dublin on June 2.

“In a clear sign that international travel is back, we are excited with the news of Air Canada’s resumption of direct routes from Montreal and Vancouver to Dublin,” added Moffatt. “2022 now sees five direct gateways across Canada and we look forward to welcoming Canadians from across the country to the Emerald Isle this year.”

In anticipation of the return of Canadians, Tourism Ireland has rounded up several value offers ranging from airfare and accommodations, to attractions and transports. Click here for details.

Ireland is now open to visitors and boasts one of the highest vaccination rates in Europe. The country has lifted nearly all COVID-19 restrictions, with no testing requirements on arrival for fully vaccinated passengers.
