First look at Club Med St. Croix, set to open November 2027

MONTREAL — Club Med has opened the books on its new all-inclusive Club Med St. Croix resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands, with stays beginning Nov. 12, 2027 and early booking rates from US$365 per person, per night.

The opening of the new resort, formerly Carambola Beach Resort and first announced in June 2026, will mark Club Med’s return to U.S. shores and will also introduce the brand’s second Exclusive Collection resort in North America, along with Club Med Quebec Charlevoix.

Located along Davis Bay, where tropical rainforest meets the Caribbean Sea, the all-suite property will welcome guests ages 12 and older.

“Club Med’s return to U.S. shores marks an exciting new chapter for our brand and an opportunity to introduce travellers to a truly special Caribbean destination,” said Carolyne Doyon, President and CEO of Club Med North America and the Caribbean.

The property is undergoing a major redevelopment that will preserve its architectural heritage while introducing contemporary Caribbean-inspired design, natural materials and open-air spaces, she added.

As part of Club Med’s Exclusive Collection, the resort will offer premium accommodations, personalized concierge services and the brand’s signature all-inclusive experience.

Guests can expect 150 oceanfront or ocean-view suites, along with three dining experiences featuring international, Caribbean-inspired and interactive culinary concepts. One of the highlights will be Club Med’s first Teppanyaki experience.

The resort will also feature four bars and lounges, an infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea, a full-service spa and a dedicated Zen Oasis for adults looking for a quieter retreat. Wellness activities and opportunities to explore the island’s natural beauty and local culture will round out the experience.

Jennifer Matarangas-King, Commissioner of Tourism for the U.S. Virgin Islands, welcomed the development and its potential impact on the island.

“Beyond expanding our accommodations offerings, this development presents meaningful opportunities for local employment, entrepreneurship and increased visitor spending,” she said.
