High-flying amusement park coming to Barceló Maya Grand Resort

MIAMI — Barceló Maya Grand Resort is set to become the first and only resort in Riviera Maya to feature its very own adventure park.

Ventura Fly & Ride Park will become the newest addition to the all-inclusive resort when it debuts in March. Comprised of two areas – Ventura Fly and Ventura Ride – the park will be open year-round from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and feature a wealth of high-flying and thrilling attractions for guests of all ages.

Ventura Fly will offer:

  • Seven airborne ziplines that send riders flying above the palm trees
  • AquaZip, a zipline that ends with a splash landing
  • Tarzania, a hybrid zipline/roller coaster that travels 1,247 feet
  • Plane Coaster, a gravity-driven coaster that begins from an altitude of almost 100 feet
  • Parachute Landing, a unique free-fall experience from 35 feet above the ground
  • Bungee Swing, a giant swing that starts with guests stepping off an airplane wing
  • 16-foot high rope courses

  • Netland, a closed circuit of bridges and slides for young adventurers

Ventura Ride will offer:

  • Off Road Polaris, Polaris Ace Vehicles that drive along a closed off-road circuit
  • GO KARTS DRIFTS featuring more than 1,200 feet of bends and curves

  • Quad Cycle featuring 4-wheel vehicles on a curvy closed-circuit track

Barceló Maya Grand Resort comprises Barceló Maya Beach, Barceló Maya Caribe, Barceló Maya Colonial, Barceló Maya Tropical, and the all-suite Barceló Maya Palace. AS part of its all-inclusive experience, guests can access the facilities of up to all five properties, including 22 restaurants, 10 pools, three theatres, three water parks, a dolphinarium, bowling alley and more.
