Goway adds Ethiopia to its lineup

TORONTO — Goway is adding a brand new destination to its lineup – Ethiopia.

According to Moira Smith, Goway’s General Manager for Africa, Ethiopia is the perfect addition to Goway’s portfolio. “Ethiopia offers so much for the discerning Globetrotter. It’s perfect for those who travel for adventure, authenticity, culture and history.”

Ethiopia is home to more UNESCO Heritage sites than any other destination in Africa. These include the medieval world of rock hewn churches in Lalibela. Axum, where the original Ark of the Covenant is said to reside, has a history which goes back to 10BC. Goway offers a 7-night tour of the historic north which includes both Lalibela and Axum as well as visits to Gondar, Bahir dar and the Simien Mountains. For customers more interested in the intriguing and interesting tribes living in the lowlands of the south, Goway offers the Cultural South.

Goway is working closely with Ethiopian Airlines and offers great value stop-overs for clients wishing to get a taste of Ethiopia enroute to other parts of Africa.

Goway recently released the 2015 edition of Goway’s AFRICAExperts Travel Planner. This features Ethiopia and over 250 independent and escorted ideas. For more information or to order your own copy, e-mail info@africaexperts.com or call 1-800-245-0920.
