GLP Worldwide partners with Hong Kong and Taiwan Tourism Boards

TORONTO — GLP Worldwide is teaming up with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau (TTB) in an effort to “expand our presence and footprint with Canadian travel agents,” said Alan Law, GLP’s director of sales and marketing.

GLP Worldwide, HKTB and TTB will partner on various marketing and promotional activities in order to increase the number of guests travelling to Hong Kong and Taiwan. Currently, more than 50 flights connect Canada with the two destinations, with additional flights expected in the future.

Taiwan is only a short 90-minute flight from Hong Kong. According to Law, it’s becoming increasingly popular for multi-destination travel in Asia.

“By combining the two destinations, you have a bustling metropolis like Hong Kong with an international flavor complemented by Taiwan’s lush greenery and local cultural experiences,” said Law.

GLP Worldwide currently offers tours that feature Taiwan and Hong Kong, including the 12-day ‘Wonders of Taiwan & Hong Kong’, priced from $2,090 per person (land only), and the eight-day ‘Discover Taiwan & Hong Kong’, priced from $1,250 (land only).
