Flair Airlines leases two new B737 MAX aircraft for summer 2023

Flair now flying to Los Angeles / Burbank, CA

EDMONTON — Flair Airlines is now offering service to Los Angeles/Burbank, into Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR).

The inaugural flight took off Nov. 21 from Vancouver. Flair plans to add Los Angeles/Burbank flights from Edmonton as well, starting Dec. 16.

“We are excited to bring our low fares to LA and become the first Canadian airline to serve Hollywood Burbank Airport,” says Flair’s President and CEO Stephen Jones. “Our flight … is the start of connecting Hollywood North with Hollywood while providing a hassle-free experience straight to the hustle of downtown LA, the Hollywood hills and Burbank’s neighbouring film studios.”

Flair’s Burbank flights are the latest U.S. routes from the ultra low-cost carrier. Other U.S. destinations now in operation with Flair include Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas. Flair will also be starting service to Palm Springs and Phoenix-Mesa in December. Earlier this month ULCC also announced plans for Cancun and Los Cabos flights from five Canadian gateways, starting Feb. 1. With Flair’s expansion plans, the airline is looking to grow to 50 aircraft in five years.
