Fiji Airways has named Olaf Kaehlert as Regional General Manager of North America. “In his new role, Kaehlert will spearhead sales and marketing campaigns as well as public and media relations activities within the North American market,” said Stefan Pichler, Fiji Airways managing director and CEO.
Kaehlert is an industry veteran who brings over 15 years of expertise in business development, marketing and sales as well as familiarity in international business, particularly in the North and South American, European and Asian markets. Kaehlert also has over 10 years of experience in the airline industry and joins Fiji Airways from Korean Air, where he most recently served as General Manager Latin America. Prior to Korean Air, Kaehlert worked for Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP), Mexicana Airlines and the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau.
