MISSISSAUGA, ON — Collette is giving travel advisors an inside look at how responsible travel influences the development of its tours during an upcoming virtual event taking place on July 8.
The session, titled ‘Responsible Travel: From Strategy to Practice’, will be held at 12 p.m. ET and will feature Ana Rooney, Vice President of Tour Design & Operations, and Melissa Snape, Head of Corporate Citizenship.
Designed specifically for travel advisors, the interactive webinar will examine how Collette’s approach to responsible travel guides the decisions made throughout the tour development process. Advisors will gain insight into the thinking, tradeoffs and guiding principles behind the experiences included on Collette tours, and how those decisions are intended to create value for both travellers and the communities they visit.
The session will also explore how the company evaluates experiences, works with local communities and balances traveller expectations with broader business, cultural and destination considerations.
The webinar will follow an open discussion format, with advisors encouraged to ask questions in real time.
Collette said participants will leave with a stronger understanding of how its tours are designed, along with practical insights they can use when discussing responsible travel with clients.
Travel advisors can register here for the July 8 event.
In addition to live webinars, Collette’s Travel Advisor Portal also offers on-demand virtual events designed to help advisors build product knowledge and support sales.
