TORONTO — High atop 130 Queens Quay East, with stunning views of Toronto’s skyline and Lake Ontario, the Travelweek Group thanked its industry friends and partners with a rooftop party that has become an annual favourite on the event calendar.
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome all our friends and industry colleagues to Travelweek’s summer celebration. So far 2026 has been a whirlwind in every sense of the word, and we just wanted to show our appreciation for all of our partners and let them know how much they mean to us, and celebrate this wonderful industry,” said Travelweek’s Publisher, Devin Kinasz.
Kinasz added: “And we wanted to have some fun! This year’s theme, ‘Low on Jet Fuel, High on Life!’, reminds us all of everything we’ve been through so far in 2026, and how everyone has risen to this year’s challenges. The resilience of the Canadian travel industry is incredible.”
The celebration was the fifth edition of Travelweek’s rooftop party, after a much-needed post-pandemic inaugural event in September 2022. Supplier partners at last night’s event included travel retailers, airlines, tour operators, tourism boards, hoteliers, cruise lines and more, who all came out for drinks and a delicious Mediterranean dinner catered by Montfort’s Bishara Arraf and his team.
Leading the Travelweek Group, Kinasz was joined by Travelweek Group chairman Gerry Kinasz, as well as Travelweek’s Editorial, Sales, Production and administrative and IT teams.
The Travelweek Group thanks everyone for attending last night’s party. We’re already looking forward to next year’s rooftop event!
