DHTour has ‘10% Solution’ for clients still worried about the exchange rate

BURLINGTON, ON — DHTour is reducing the price of many of its England, Scotland and Ireland tours by 10%, reflecting the rise of the Canadian dollar.

Late in 2015 the Canadian dollar was at its weakest against other world currencies and like other travel companies purchasing product from overseas, London & UK Specialist DHTour priced its tours and FIT products for 2016 accordingly, says President Gordon Burwood.

“The Canadian dollar has strengthened considerably in recent weeks against both the U.S. dollar and the main European currencies: the British pound and the euro,” said Burwood. “The discount will be in place for all bookings made from May 1 – 31 for travel from June 1, and will be reviewed on June 1. If the Canadian dollar remains strong, pricing will be locked in for the balance of 2016.”

Tours qualifying for the 10% reduction, from DHTour’s ‘Beautiful Britain & Europe 2016’ brochure, include:

  • All Bed ‘n Breakfast Tours…
  • From London, two-, three- and four-day excursions
  • London to Devon & Cornwall  (five days) and to Heart of England (five days)
  • London to Edinburgh and London to Normandy
  • Week in London with ‘Downton Abbey’
  • All U.K. Walking and Rail tours
  • Scotland – B ‘n B from Edinburgh (from two to six days)
  • Highland & Islands (14 days) and Magnificent Scotland (19 days)
  • Ireland – three-day B ‘n B tours from Dublin
  • Coach tours – Unforgettable Ireland (nine days) & Explore Ireland (13 days)

The deal does not include tours by Back Roads Touring Co.

Burwood added that DHTour has also reduced pricing on all FIT product such as London Oyster/Travel Cards, day tours and hotel packages in all U.K. and European cities. All new pricing can be found at dhgrouptours.com. The company can also be reached at dhtour@dhtour.ca or 1-888-597-3519.
