VoX Int’l will no longer represent Hawai’i Tourism Authority (HTA) in Canada

TORONTO — VoX International is saying mahalo (thank you) and farewell to the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) account in Canada.

VoX has represented the HTA in this market for the past 11 years, as Hawaiʻi Tourism Canada.

“This is purely a budget decision the HTA has made. The intention is to let a U.S. based team handle Canada although no definitive decisions have been made,” said VoX International’s President, Susan Webb, along with Colin Wood and Samantha Carreira and the team, in a July 6 letter to industry partners.

Webb added: “Understanding that changes and budget adjustments happen, we can’t help but be sad about what is being lost and its potential impact on Hawaiʻi’s position as a top destination for Canadian visits.”

Canada is Hawaiʻi’s #2 international market. Anyone looking for interim contacts for the HTA is invited to reach out to VoX.

“We’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished, and we couldn’t have done it without you,” said Webb.
