TORONTO — Visit Lauderdale is enhancing its support for the travel trade with the launch of Lauderdale Loyalist, a new interactive training platform designed to help travel advisors deepen their knowledge of Greater Fort Lauderdale while strengthening destination sales.
Developed in partnership with TravPRO Mobile, the mobile-friendly learning platform offers advisors an immersive look at the South Florida destination through a series of educational modules and on-demand resources.
The program covers key aspects of Greater Fort Lauderdale, including its beaches, neighbourhoods, arts and culture scene, nature experiences and water-based activities.
Once advisors complete the training modules, advisors will retain ongoing access to a digital content library that can be revisited at any time.
The platform also includes videos, photography, insider recommendations and shareable assets, along with a searchable directory featuring more than 500 tourism suppliers to assist advisors with trip planning and bookings.
Greater Fort Lauderdale continues to position itself as a year-round leisure destination, known for its warm climate, waterways and beach communities. The destination, often referred to as the “Venice of America” and the “Yachting Capital of the World,” features more than 300 miles of navigable waterways and eight distinct beach communities.
Made up of 31 municipalities, Greater Fort Lauderdale offers more than 37,000 hotel rooms and resort accommodations ranging from luxury properties to boutique hotels. The region is also home to more than 4,000 restaurants, a growing arts and culture scene, rooftop bars, breweries, shopping districts and outdoor activities including diving, fishing and paddling.
Travellers arriving through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport can access the beach, Port Everglades and downtown Fort Lauderdale within minutes of arrival.
