TORONTO — The Hong Kong Tourism Board has named Beverly Cheng as Director for Canada at the HKTB, based in Toronto.
In her new role Cheng will focus on strengthening partnerships and delivering campaigns that inspire Canadians to experience Hong Kong.
Cheng is a Toronto native who lived and worked in Hong Kong for more than a decade. She’s served in senior communications roles with global hospitality brands including Marriott International, where she led communications for a portfolio of 16 hotel brands across Asia Pacific. Most recently, she served as Head of Marketing, Communications and Visitor Experience at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto.
“It is truly an honour to lead Hong Kong Tourism Board in Canada, a role that is deeply meaningful to me. As both a Torontonian and a Hongkonger, I am excited to help Canadians rediscover Hong Kong through its unique energy, culture, world-class dining, arts and natural beauty,” said Cheng.
The HKTB’s Toronto-based team says it looks forward to introducing Cheng to its valued partners and to working together in promoting Hong Kong in Canada.
