Scenic Tours has hired Derek Legault to serve as senior director of sales for Canada. Legault will be responsible for leading the Canadian sales effort for both Scenic Tours and its sister line, Emerald Waterways, as well as head up the sales teams. He will also take charge of the travel agent support efforts as both companies continue to set new growth records. Legault has been working in various positions for several major travel companies throughout his 23-year travel career with much of it focused on high-end FIT Europe travel experiences, specialty groups, and sales and marketing, at companies including Conquest Vacations, Uniglobe and Fun Sun Vacations.
