MIAMI — Virgin Voyages is heading to Scandinavia and the Baltics – and it’s promoting the brand new itineraries with a booking incentive for its First Mates.
For seven weeks, every booking made by travel advisors based in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the U.K. earn a shot at a spot onboard one of the six new voyages.
General bookings for the brand new Northern Europe routes open Aug. 14, 2026, along with Season Pass pricing and US$100 deposits.
Bookings for loyalty Sailors and First Mates open the day before, on Aug. 13. “If the pattern holds, suites and balcony cabins won’t last the weekend,” says Virgin Voyages.
The new season of sailings, getting underway July 9, 2028, will feature four immersive Northern Europe itineraries framed by two one-way voyages between Barcelona and Amsterdam. The six sailings journey from Scandinavian capitals and overnight city stays to Norway’s fjords and the Arctic Circle crossing, giving First Mates the ability to sell the region one voyage at a time or paired together.
On Aug. 14, 2028, Valiant Lady will cross the Arctic Circle, to 71° north. Amsterdam will serve as the new homeport for the brand’s first-ever Scandinavia & Baltic season. Each one of the six sailings includes a maiden call and is capped by a marquee Arctic Circle crossing with a midnight sun deck party under 24-hour daylight.

Clients who want the whole run can lock in the Summer Season Pass. It’s the ideal way to sail all four voyages back-to-back, says the cruise line. The season wraps up Sept. 4, 2028 in Barcelona.
“Plenty of brands call an expansion ‘new’ when it’s really the same product with a different backdrop,” said John Lovell, board member and Senior Advisor of Virgin Voyages. “This isn’t that. Every voyage in this season has a new destination, and it’s new to your client too.”
The latest update from Virgin Voyages: “The Mediterranean sold out. The OG Summer Season Passes sold out. Alaska 2026 is sold out and 2027 is filling fast.”
