The company has appointed Gordon Dirker as Senior Vice President, Americas, Jennifer Zammit as Senior Director, Canada Sales, and Jane Martin as Sales Director, National Host Accounts.
According to Swan Hellenic, the appointments strengthen its commercial capabilities across North and South America, a region identified as a key growth market for the brand.
Dirker returns to Swan Hellenic after previously serving as Vice President Sales, North America during the company’s relaunch in 2022. Reporting to Mario Bounas, Chief Commercial Officer, he will oversee regional sales strategy, trade partnerships and business development efforts.
Dirker brings more than 25 years of experience in the cruise and travel sectors. His career has included senior leadership positions with Celestyal Cruises, Hurtigruten, TTC Group, Clipper Vacations and Cruise Norway – Worldwide Expeditions, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and General Manager. His background includes building sales organizations and developing trade distribution networks.
Swan Hellenic said his familiarity with the company’s products, brand values and commercial strategy will allow him to quickly support relationships with travel advisors and industry partners throughout the region.
Said Dirker: “Swan Hellenic has a distinctive position in the expedition cruise sector, and I am excited to return at a time of strong growth potential across the Americas. I look forward to working closely with our trade partners to build on that momentum.”
In Canada, Zammit joins the company from Rocky Mountaineer, where she served as Key Account Manager for Canada. Her previous experience also includes roles with Huntington Travel Group and Globus Family of Brands.
As Senior Director, Canada Sales, Zammit will focus on growing Swan Hellenic’s presence in the Canadian market and building strategic partnerships across the travel trade.
Meanwhile, Martin will oversee relationships with host agencies, consortia and national accounts throughout the United States in her new role as Sales Director, National Host Accounts.
