VANCOUVER — Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has launched its 2027 Europe River Cruising & Land Journeys collection, featuring new culinary-focused departures and expanded land extensions.
Spanning 15 countries and 12 waterways, the collection is designed to offer greater flexibility and more immersive travel experiences.
Key highlights include the introduction of curated culinary sailings along the Danube and Rhône, featuring immersive experiences such as wine tastings, cooking demonstrations and regional dining.
On land, Scenic is expanding its portfolio with new extensions in Amsterdam, Berlin and the French Riviera, alongside the debut of a dedicated 13-day Switzerland journey, designed to showcase the country’s landscapes via panoramic rail and alpine routes.
New curated culinary journeys across Central Europe and France include: A Taste of the Danube – A Culinary Cruise (May 22 & Sept. 4, 2027); and Tastes of the Rhône – A Culinary Cruise (April 26 & July 26, 2027).
Scenic will also soon welcome a new ship. In 2027, the new Scenic Aria will join the fleet, beginning its inaugural season on Portugal’s Douro River in September. Scenic Aria will sail alongside Scenic Azure, offering guests expanded access to the region through signature itineraries, the 11-day Unforgettable Douro and the 8-day Delightful Douro.
Meanwhile Scenic’s escorted city stays and land extensions complement each river cruise. In 2027, new land tour extensions in Amsterdam, Berlin and the French Riviera will also be introduced.

- 3-day Amsterdam extension (Amsterdam > Amsterdam): 23 departures linking to the 8-day Rhine Delights; the 8-day Windmills, Tulips & Belgian Delights; and the 15-day Romantic Rhine & Moselle
- 4-day Berlin Extension (Berlin > Berlin): Eight departures linking to the 8-day Castles & Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle
- 4-Day French Riviera Extension (Nice > Nice): Nine departures linking to the 11-day Spectacular South of France; the 8-day Idyllic Rhône; the 11-day Normandy & Gems of the Seine; and the 8-day Highlights of Normandy & the Seine.
In 2027, Scenic will also debut a new 13-day land journey dedicated entirely to Switzerland. Travelling by coach, panoramic rail and picturesque mountain routes, guests will explore from Lake Geneva to the iconic peaks of Jungfraujoch and Mt. Titlis, while discovering Zermatt and Lugano.
The 13-day Iconic Switzerland (Lausanne ↔ Zurich, operating in both directions) will have eight departures, linking to the 15-day Romantic Rhine & Moselle (all departures); the 15-day Jewels of Europe (select departures) and the 11-day Normandy & Gems of the Seine (select departures).
Clients can take advantage of free airfare on all cruises plus save up to $3,000 per couple, or save from $3,200 to $6,200 per couple.
Groups of 10 guests or more save an additional $200 per person.
