GENEVA — MSC Cruises has revised its Winter 2027/2028 deployment, with MSC World Europa remaining in the Western Mediterranean and new flagship MSC World Asia shifting to the South Caribbean.

MSC World Europa had originally been scheduled to operate in the Middle East but will instead continue sailing seven-night Western Mediterranean itineraries.

The ship will call at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina and Valletta.

MSC World Europa features a range of dining, entertainment and family facilities, including the open-air World Promenade, World Galleria, specialty restaurants, lounges and bars.

MSC WORLD ASIA HEADS TO SOUTH CARIBBEAN 

MSC World Asia will operate seven- and 14-night South Caribbean itineraries, with embarkation available in Fort-de-France, Martinique, Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe and Bridgetown, Barbados.

Ports of call will include Castries, Saint Lucia; St. George’s, Grenada; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda; Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis; Roseau, Dominica and Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

As MSC Cruises’ new flagship, MSC World Asia will bring several of the line’s newest features to the region, including the Cliffhanger over-water swing attraction, a large Venchi chocolate experience, family attractions, entertainment venues and expansive outdoor spaces.

BOOKED GUESTS BEING CONTACTED

Guests who had booked MSC World Europa in the Middle East for Winter 2027/2028, along with their travel partners, are being contacted directly with options that include moving to another sailing or requesting a full refund.

Guests booked on MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or MSC Meraviglia in the South Caribbean for the same season will have their reservations updated and will be contacted directly regarding any individual changes.
