TORONTO — One lucky winner will soon be on his way to Colombia, thanks to a contest with Copa Airlines and ProColombia in partnership with Travelweek’s Learning Centre.
Justin Hines with Victours has won two roundtrip tickets to Colombia.
Hines won the tickets thanks to his completion of the Colombia Specialist Program hosted on Travelweek’s Learning Centre.
The program, available in English and French, offers an opportunity for travel agents to learn about Colombia, the “most welcoming destination on earth.”
Agents who take the course learn about Colombia’s six unforgettable regions: West Colombian Andes, Greater Colombian Caribbean, Colombian Pacific, Eastern Colombian Andes, Colombian Amazon-Orinoco and Colombian Massif.
The program is split up into various modules, covering general country info, details on regions and activities, luxury offerings and more.
Additionally, agents can learn more about Copa Airlines, a leading airline in Latin America, connecting travellers from Canada to the 11 cities within its route network.
Álvaro Concha, ProColombia’s Trade Comissioner for Canada says: “Colombia is not far away. It is only six hours away from Toronto and seven hours away from Montreal on a direct flight to Bogotá. For those looking to find a home away from home, visit Colombia and check it out!”
The training program offers all the information agents need to know to help sell and promote Colombia, from the country’s climate and practical information, to the exciting experiences and can’t-miss opportunities for travellers.
Agents who completed the course by July 18, 2022 were entered into the contest, for a chance to win the two tickets to Colombia.
