CNTA unveils ‘Beautiful China – 2017 Year of Silk Road Tourism’ campaign

TORONTO — The China National Tourism Administration(CNTA)has launched a large-scale thematic advertising campaign in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square, unveiling its ‘Beautiful China – 2017 Year of Silk Road Tourism’ campaign.

The same campaign was unveiled simultaneously in more than 20 countries, including the U.S., Britain, France, Germany, Russia, Japan and South Korea.

In 2015 the total number of tourist visits between Canada and China was more than 1.2 million, and in the first three quarters of 2016 the visitor number surpassed the one million mark, an increase of 15.6%. China has become Canada’s largest tourist destination in Asia.

The Beautiful China – 2017 Year of Silk Road Tourism ad campaign will run for five weeks, through the Chinese Spring Festival holiday season.
