Celestyal launches wave season savings of up to 60%

ATHENS — Celestyal has launched a new campaign for wave season featuring savings of up to 60% off its most popular 2023 and 2024 itineraries.

The campaign, called ‘Go Further, Get Closer Wave Season,’ applies to select 2023 and 2024 itineraries booked from now until Feb. 28, 2023. Prices start at US$339 on the three-night ‘Iconic Aegean’ itinerary, which is normally priced at $840, representing a savings of 60%. The popular seven-night ‘Idyllic Aegean’ itinerary, normally priced at $1,650, has been reduced by more than 40% to $889.

‘Iconic Aegean’ sets sail from Athens and calls on Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Crete and Santorini, while ‘Idyllic Aegean’ begins in Athens and visits Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos and Milos.

To offer guests more flexibility, Celestyal offers two fare tiers, allowing them to select the amenities and shore excursions to customize their vacation. ‘Inclusive’ fares includes complimentary dining and select drinks with meals, entertainment, daily activities, port charges and gratuities. Guests will also receive a pre-bookable shore excursion discount of $80 per person that they can apply to their shore excursion experience of their choice.

Celestyal launches wave season savings of up to 60%During the ‘Go Further, Get Closer’ campaign, travellers can upgrade to the ‘enhanced’ fare start at $170 per person, based on double occupancy, on three- and four-night itineraries, and for $260 on seven-night itineraries. The ‘enhanced value add fare’ provides guests with an unlimited premium drinks package, daily hour of complimentary Wi-Fi, 25% discount on Specialty Dining and a pre-bookable shore excursion discount of $170 per person.

Offers are also available on the four-night ‘Iconic Aegean’ with prices starting at $459 and can be upgraded to ‘enhanced’ for $190, compared with the regular price of $1,080. The limited departures for the seven-night ‘Eclectic Aegean’ itinerary, which departs Athens and calls on Istanbul, Thessaloniki, Volos, Kavala and Santorini, is also included in the campaign, starting at $1,029 compared with the regular price of $1,650.

Guests can also take advantage of reduced prices on Celestyal’s seven-night ‘Three Continents’ cruise, which visits Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Turkey and Greece, starting at $679 compared with $1,650. The Oct. 14 and Oct. 21 special ‘Steps of Paul’ sailings, which depart Athens and visits Thessaloniki, Kavala, Patmos, Istanbul, Dikili and Kusadasi, are priced from $1,289 compared with $1,650 outside of the promotional period.

 


 

HOLIDAY SAILINGS

For those looking to celebrate the holidays at sea, Celestyal is offering special savings on its 1-night, Dec. 16 Christmas voyage, which departs Athens and visits Thessaloniki, Crete, Izmir, Antalya, Egypt, Israel and Cyprus. Priced at $1,329 (compared with $2,390), this itinerary can be upgraded to ‘enhanced’ for $360, per person.

Guests who wish for a longer cruise experience can book Celestyal’s 19-night Christmas and New Year’s itinerary, which begins in Athens and visits Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Crete, Volos, Izmir, Antalya, Kusadasi, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus and Istanbul. New Year’s will be spent in Istanbul with a special holiday fireworks display. These sailings are normally priced at $3,550 but starts at $2,259 during the promotional campaign, and can also be upgraded to ‘enhanced’ for an additional $540 per person.
