Carnival offers triple rewards points incentive for 2014 bookings

Carnival offers triple rewards points incentive for 2014 bookings MIAMI — Carnival Cruise Lines is offering a special promotion awarding triple rewards points in its Travel Agent Rewards program for all new 2014 bookings made between now and Oct. 19.

During the promotional period, travel agents will earn 450 rewards points for each booking made on all 2014 sailings, three times the normal 150 point value for a new booking.

The promotion is available to the more than 25,000 travel agents who are currently enrolled in the program or to new members who join by Oct. 19.

Carnival’s Travel Agent Rewards program enables agents to earn points for the activities they do every day in working with Carnival including: making a new booking; sailing on Carnival as a travel agent; booking a cruise rookie; attending a tradeshow, training session or other Carnival event; reading e-mails from Carnival on sales, news and promotions; graduating from Carnival Passport program levels and visiting GoCCL.com.

Agents can earn 50 to 3,000 points per activity and points can be redeemed for Carnival logo items, Visa/MasterCard gift cards, iPads and flat screen TVs.  Redemption items are valued between 2,500 to 100,000 points.

“As part of Carnival Conversations, travel agents have told us that they really enjoy collecting and redeeming points in our Rewards Program, so we wanted to round out the year with a special triple point opportunity,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales.

Agents must book their clients on 2014 sailings from Sept. 23 to Oct. 19, 2013 and enter their eligible bookings in the Travel Agent Rewards Program in order to receive in the triple rewards points. For more information or to enroll in the program see GoCCL.com.
