MONTREAL — ACV has opened the books on new independent fams for travel agents looking to check out the company’s offering in Cuba.
The fams, to Cayo Coco, start at $599 per person from Toronto or $549 per person from Montreal.
Travelweek broke the story last week that ACV would head back to Cuba with commercial flights starting in September. In an exclusive interview with Travelweek posted Aug. 6, Air Canada Vacations’ Managing Director, Nino Montagnese, confirmed that flights from Toronto and Montreal to Cayo Coco will resume next month.
Nonstop flights from Montreal to Cayo Coco will operate on Fridays starting Sept. 4 and from Toronto to Cayo Coco on Saturdays starting Sept. 26. Starting in October, departures from Toronto to Cayo Coco will operate twice weekly on Saturdays and Sundays.
ACV also announced today new Varadero nonstop flights from Montreal operating on Sundays and from Toronto operating on Saturdays, starting in October.
With this latest announcement, Montagnese says: “Our goal at Air Canada Vacations is to continue to provide you with the updates you need to help turn your customers’ vacation dreams into reality.”
The new flights, together with Air Canada CleanCare+ and Air Canada Vacations’ health and safety standards, mean clients “can book with confidence and enjoy some fun in the sun,” he added.
