TORONTO — Travel is coming back like never before and the keynote speakers at Travelweek Group’s ‘Future of Travel: Rebound’ event are keen to share their insights at this critical time for the travel industry.

Future of Travel started in 2020, during the early months of the pandemic, and proved so popular that it continues more than two years later. Total viewership including on social media usually averages about 10,000 with several thousand agents participating live on the webcast.

‘Future of Travel: Rebound’, the 7th virtual event in the series, is scheduled for Oct. 20, 2022, from 1 – 3 p.m. ET.  Click here to register and secure your chance to win 2 air tickets with SATA Azores Airlines.

New this year, Travelweek wants to ensure they’re getting to the crux of agent issues, so attendees are invited to submit questions to the keynote speakers here. Questions must be submitted by Oct. 12.

Keynote speakers include …

  • Wendy Paradis, President, ACTA
  • Duncan Bureau, Chief Commercial Officer, Canada Jetlines
  • Guy Young, Chief Trade Engagement Officer, TTC Tour Brands
  • Sandra Moffat, Chair, ETC and Manager, Tourism Ireland
  • Una O’Leary, General Manager, Canada, Virtuoso
  • Paula Vlamings, Chief Impact Officer, Tourism Cares

“The Oct. 1 elimination of all of Canada’s remaining COVID travel restrictions was great news, and we couldn’t be happier to see this long-overdue rebound now fully underway for our beloved travel industry despite some ongoing economic headwinds,” says Travelweek’s Publisher, Devin Kinasz. “‘Future of Travel: Rebound’ will build on that momentum with insights, helpful advice and shared experiences that will resonate with travel advisors across Canada.”
