6. Stopping near Limerick, we stayed at the welcoming Castle Oaks House Hotel, with its grounds adjacent to the River Shannon, perfect for a lovely walk in the autumn woods. The next day our morning started with an eyeful – the well-known Cliffs of Moher, and then to Galway, to wander the town.
