Emerald Azzurra will also sail the Black Sea in 2023

VANCOUVER — In anticipation for increased demand for small-ship cruising, Emerald Cruises has unveiled its 2023 program for its brand new superyacht, Emerald Azzurra, coming in January 2022.

In addition to sailings in the Mediterranean, Red, Aegean and Adriatic seas, the 2023 collection will also feature voyages to the Black sea on two exciting new itineraries.

The 15-day ‘Mykonos, Gallipoli & Essence of the Black Sea’ will sail between Athens and Istanbul, with a port of call in Mykonos before exploring the Black Sea at ports in Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria. Prices start at $10,300 per person, double occupancy, with departures planned for Aug. 5 and 19, 2023.

For a more in-depth sailing, the 22-day ‘Discover the Greek Islands, Turkey & the Black Sea’ expands on the above voyage with additional ports of call in Patmos, Rhodes and Amorgos, Greece and Kusadasi and Bodrum, Turkey. Highlights include a hike to the Monastery of St. John in Patmos and a folklore show in Amorgos. Prices start at $15,125 per person, double occupancy, with two departures scheduled for July 29 and Aug. 19, 2023.

Both itineraries are featured in Emerald Cruises’ brochure, downloadable here

In celebration of the 2023 season release, Emerald Cruises is offering Super Earlybird savings of up to 25% on a limited number of select staterooms and suites. The offer is valid on new bookings that are paid in full 12 months prior to departure. In addition, all bookings come with the line’s Flexible Booking policy that allows guests to defer travel plans and transfer to an alternate departure date or itinerary up to 60 days prior to departure with no Emerald Cruises fees. The Deposit Protection Plan (valued at $200 per person) is a complimentary inclusion in all bookings and allows guests flexibility with their travel dates.

The 100-guest, five-star Emerald Azzurra will set sail next January as the first custom-built ocean superyacht for Emerald Cruises. To read an exclusive interview with Emerald Cruises’ Juna Ueda, General Manager, Sales of Emerald Cruises Canada, about the Emerald Azzurra, click here
