New reopening dates for nine Palladium properties

MADRID — Palladium Hotel Group is reopening more resorts this fall in Riviera Maya and the D.R., following the successful reopening of several properties in Mexico and Jamaica.

Already open are Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa and TRS Coral Hotel in Cancun, Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa and Dominican Fiesta in Santo Domingo as well as Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa.

Looking ahead to October, Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa and TRS Yucatan Hotel, all in Riviera Maya, will reopen Oct. 2, several weeks earlier than originally expected.

Meanwhile Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa & Casino, Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa and TRS Turquesa Hotel, all in Punta Cana, originally set to reopen on Oct. 9, will now reopen Nov. 19.

And TRS Cap Cana in the D.R., originally targeted for Oct. 30, is now scheduled to resume operations on Dec. 18.

This past July, Palladium announced its new insurance offering for COVID-19. Called Stay Safe Plus, the coverage is designed to protect guests “against any unforeseen circumstances related to the current COVID-19 pandemic,” says Palladium.

“We are very excited about the reopening of our hotels in Mexico and the Dominican Republic this fall,” says Pilar Arizmendi-Stewart, VP of Sales and Marketing for the Americas at Palladium Hotel Group.

“Every step we take to reopen our hotels involves hard work to ensure the safety of our guests and a seamless travel experience. In addition to comprehensive protocols and booking flexibility, we have launched Stay Safe-Plus, our free health insurance implemented precisely to boost confidence in travel.”
