Disney Cruise Line suspends all new departures through May 17

MIAMI — Following the CDC’s renewal of its no-sail order, Disney Cruise Line has extended its suspension of operations and updated its temporary cancellation policy.

All departures of the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy have been suspended through May 17, 2020. All Disney Magic sailings have been suspended through June 7, 2020, while all departures on the Disney Wonder have been cancelled through June, given that neither the Port of Vancouver or an alternate homeport is available.

Guests currently booked on affected sailings will be offered either a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund. Impacted guests and their travel agents will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining next steps.

Below is a list of all impacted sailings:

Disney Magic: April 11-16; April 16-20; April 20-25; April 25-30; April 30-May 4; May 4-8; May 8-11; May 11-23; May 23-30; May 30-June 6; June 6-13

Disney Wonder: April 12-19; April 19-24; April 24-29; April 29-May 8; May 8-18; May 18-25; May 25-June 1; June 1-8; June 8-15; June 15-22; June 22-29; June 29-July 6

Disney Dream: April 13-17; April 17-20; April 20-24; April 24-27; April 27-May 1; May 1-4; May 4-8; May 8-11; May 11-15; May 15-18

Disney Fantasy: April 11-18; April 18-25; April 25-May 2; May 2-9; May 9-16; May 16-23

Guests currently booked on a Disney Magic European sailing after June 7 and through the July 25, 2020 departure can change their reservation up until the day before embarkation and receive a 100% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date. The credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply.

Alternatively, guests currently book on Disney Cruise Line’s July 13, July 18 and July 25, 2020 European sailings may delay their final payment to 30 days prior to their sailing.

In addition, given the current pandemic, Disney Cruise Line is offering temporary adjustments to its cancellation policy to provided added flexibility. All guests scheduled to depart on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy between May 18 and May 31, 2020 can change their reservation up until the day before embarkation and receive a 100% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date.
