Crystal launches savings program designed to support advisors

MIAMI — Crystal Cruises has launched a new program, which allows travellers to save on sailings through 2022 with low deposits on open bookings.

The cruise line says its new Crystal Assured Savings program was designed to offer support to the travel advisor community.

The program invites travellers to make an open booking deposit of just US$500 per person by June 30, 2020, locking in additional savings of 2.5% – that’s an extra savings from $50 to over $6,000 or more, depending on sailing and category – for any seven-night or longer itinerary on the Crystal Experience of their choice including Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition in 2020, 2021 or 2022. Guests have until March 31, 2021 to select their preferred voyage.

Travel advisors will earn commission on the deposit now as well as locking in new bookings for the future with full commission, less applicable savings.

“Our travel partners are part of the Crystal family, and we remain dedicated to supporting their business and working with them through these unprecedented times,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales. “The Crystal Assured Savings program equips them with an honest, simple tool – and meaningful savings for their clients – to continue to grow their luxury business and share the Crystal Experience with travelers who are looking to explore the world at a later date.”

The additional savings of 2.5% is on top of other Crystal special savings that may apply including Two-for-One fares, Book Now Savings, Crystal Society Savings, Early Final Payment Savings, Back-to-Back Savings, Combination Voyage Savings and available future cruise credits, maximizing value for travelers as well as an immediate earning opportunity for travel advisors.

“The Crystal Assured Savings is a win for our clients, given the array of opportunities to lock in savings on Crystal’s incredible luxury experiences now, as they look ahead to traveling again in the future,” said Eric Maryanov, president of All-Travel. “Likewise, the program presents a wonderful chance for travel advisors to stimulate business during today’s uncertain environment, while also building a strong foundation for tomorrow that will keep their businesses growing. With Crystal Assured Savings, Crystal is making it possible for the travel community to stay connected and inspired beyond the challenges we are currently facing, and helping advisors weather the storm.”

Leah Bergner, senior travel advisor for Coastline Travel Advisors, added, “Time spent traveling is a precious luxury. Our clients are missing exploring the world, having had to cancel trips and gatherings with family and friends over the past several weeks. Crystal Assured Savings presents the perfect opportunity to begin looking forward again – to luxury vacations and sharing moments and memories with loved ones – with truly compelling, limited time savings.”

With the new program, guests have the choice of hundreds of all-inclusive luxury sailings over nearly two and a half years, from spanning the globe aboard Crystal Cruises and cruising iconic European waterways aboard Crystal River Cruises to navigating boutique islands and yachting harbors with Crystal Yacht Cruises and exploring remote destinations both polar and tropical with Crystal Expedition Cruises.

Roig added, “We are looking ahead and eagerly anticipating sailing the globe again, returning to and discovering places ready and happy to welcome travelers back to their shores.”
