Robert De Niro opens the new Nobu Hotel Los Cabos

LOS CABOS — A spectacular fireworks display and a signature sake ceremony marked the official launch of the new Nobu Hotel Los Cabos on Nov. 13.

Robert De Niro, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper, co-founders of Nobu Hospitality, all took part in the festivities on Nov. 13, which also included a ribbon-cutting and a performance by Japanese Taiko drummers. After breaking the lid to a sake barrel with wooden mallets, sake was served to guests in traditional masu cups for a grand toast.
