Bill Murray applied for a job at this restaurant in Atlanta airport

ATLANTA — The only thing cooler than meeting Bill Murray would be ordering spring rolls from Bill Murray.

The beloved actor, star of such iconic films as ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Groundhog Day’, recently shared his desire to work at P.F. Chang’s, the Chinese-themed restaurant chain featuring over 300 locations worldwide.

His love of the Chang runs so deep that he once filled out an application at the Atlanta airport location “because I think that’s one of the great places.”

Murray admitted as much during an appearance on Amy Schumer’s podcast, ‘3 Girls 1 Keith’. Schumer, unbelieving of his lofty goals, asked, “To do what? Just any job?”

Murray replied, “It looks like the best time. It looks like they are having the best time working at P.F. Chang’s.”

The good folks at P.F. Chang’s eventually heard of Murray’s career ambitions and flat out offered him a job via Twitter.

“Bill, you’re hired! When can you start?” they tweeted.

Whether it’s a publicity stunt or not, Tana Davila, chief marketing officer at P.F. Chang’s, told USA Today that the company is fully serious about their offer. And despite the fact that human resources has yet to find Murray’s application, “we decided to offer him the job anyway. We have seen his work and think he would make a promising wok chef.”

This, we imagine, should come as a huge relief to the Golden Globe Award-winning actor in case, you know, the whole acting thing doesn’t work out.
