TORONTO — The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and Travelweek are hosting a run fam later this year for the Cayman Islands Marathon.

Billed as a wellness experiential running fam, the trip is taking place Dec. 7 – 12, 2019.

The main event, The Intertrust Cayman Islands Marathon, is scheduled for Dec. 8. There’s a choice between a half or full marathon, or a relay team of four people to collectively run the marathon distance.

Along with the marathon, the trip also includes island activities and attractions, ‘Culinary Capital of the Caribbean’ dining experiences, product familiarization including hotel inspections and education.

Roundtrip air transportation to Grand Cayman from Toronto (or another qualifying gateway), five nights accommodation (double occupancy), all transportation in Grand Cayman and most meals are also covered.

Cost is $449 from Ontario and Quebec and $548 from other provinces. To qualify participants must be full-time travel agents working in a direct sales capacity with a current travel agency, with a limit of one qualified applicant per agency location. Pending acceptance, all applicants will be asked to present a valid IATA card and valid passport.

Selection of agents for the fam will take place the week of Oct. 7.
