Xiamen Air’s Vancouver flights start July 26 with ongoing connections

TORONTO — Starting July 26 Xiamen Air is launching three times weekly service between Vancouver and Xiamen with ongoing regional and international connections.

The airline is a member of SkyTeam and China’s first privately owned carrier.

Flight MF806 will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays with B787 service offering First/Business and Economy classes. Departure time is scheduled at 1:40 a.m.

“Xiamen Air is a major Chinese carrier that is serving the increasing needs of corporate agencies, tour operators and leisure networks based in Canada,” said Karl Müller, Director, Canada for AirlinePros, GSA for Xiamen in Canada. “With an expanding Asian flight network and strong domestic route structure, airfares and connecting flights will facilitate travel planning for those needing to connect in Asia and within China using Xiamen Air.”

Published fares been loaded in all major GDS systems and credit card acceptance will now uncomplicate ticketing and payment even further, said Müller. Xiamen offers 5% commission on published fares to agencies.

“There has never been a better time to book your clients to China with Xiamen’s recognized onboard service and competitive fares,” said Müller. Seattle-Shenzhen-Xiamen flights are coming this September, he added.
