TORONTO — ACTA is giving Canadian travel advisors a chance to win a European cultural expedition for two with Aurora Expeditions as it brings back its Join, Renew, Refer and Certify Program for 2027.

The program runs through July 31, 2027, and comes as ACTA celebrates its 50th anniversary.

There’s more than one way to get in on the draw. Advisors can earn one ballot for each qualifying action: joining ACTA, renewing their membership, referring a new member or achieving professional certification.

Eligible membership renewals, including CTC certification renewals, also count retroactively to September 2026, when ACTA launched its membership renewal drive.

The grand prize is a complimentary cabin for two on an Aurora Expeditions cultural journey, valued at up to $21,000 per person. 

The winner can choose from seven eligible departures in 2028, with itineraries across Europe. The seven itineraries are: The Isles of the British Isles (April 19 – 29, 2028); Forever Irish (April 29 – May 7, 2028); The Cross and the Crescent Moon (May 11 – 21, 2028); Barcelona to Valetta: Storied Shores of the Med (May 21 – 31, 2028); The Mediterranean: Beyond the Icons (May 31 – June 14, 2028); Lisbon to Amsterdam: Coasting the Atlantic (June 14 – 26, 2028); and A Northern Saga (June 26 – July 9, 2028).

ACTA says the initiative builds on strong participation in ACTA’s previous program and is aimed at encouraging professional development and connections among Canadian travel advisors.

The winner will be announced at ACTA’s 2027 summit on Sept. 9, 2027, at the Toronto Congress Centre, as the association marks five decades of supporting Canada’s travel industry.
