Our 2027 familiarization trip is designed for travel agents, tour operators, and travel advisors who want to see Bulgaria firsthand. Over eight days (20-27 February 2027), you’ll travel from the capital, Sofia, through the mountains and wine country, to the Black Sea coast, and see the routes, sights, hotels, and local partners your clients will meet.
You’ll visit three UNESCO World Heritage Sites and an Orthodox monastery hidden in the mountains. You’ll taste wine in Melnik, Bulgaria’s wine capital, learn to make banitsa at a cooking class, and see where the famous Bulgarian rose oil is made. You’ll come home with first-hand stories and itinerary ideas, plus a local partner who can help you build tours for your clients.
