TORONTO — Travcom is marking 50 years in the travel industry, reflecting on decades of technological change while highlighting how its ClientLinq platform helps agencies manage their businesses and support clients.
Founded in 1976, Travcom has evolved from back-office accounting technology to digital tools designed to help travel professionals work more efficiently. In 2012, it launched ClientLinq, a web-based CRM and invoicing platform for host agencies and independent travel advisors.
“Technology has changed dramatically since Travcom began in 1976, but our purpose has remained remarkably consistent: to give travel professionals better tools to work more efficiently, serve their clients better and grow their businesses,” said Michael Miocevich, General Manager, Travcom Canada & ClientLinq.
ClientLinq brings together front- and back-office tools in one connected platform, helping advisors manage client profiles, automate invoicing and track commissions. In 2020, Travcom launched the ClientLinq TravelDocs app for iOS and Android, giving advisors mobile access to the technology.
The platform is designed to address technology fragmentation across agencies using multiple systems for CRM, itineraries, marketing, group management and client communications.
“Clientlinq has significantly improved efficiency across our office,” said Sandra Lombardi, co-owner, Luv to Travel. “Automation has given the team the invaluable gift of time; time to focus on what matters, speaking to clients, growing the business, curating trips of a lifetime, as well as allowing a work life balance. No more working late hours to catch up on invoicing!”
Gregory Luciani, President & CEO, TravelOnly, said ClientLinq helps advisors run their businesses with confidence from day one, keeping client details organized so they can focus on selling travel and serving clients.
Travcom is inviting agencies to request a ClientLinq demo to explore the platform and its integrated approach to travel technology.
