CHICAGO — The former Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort has officially entered a new chapter, transforming into Hyatt Vivid Cancun, the newest addition to the Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
The transformation of the 416-room, adults-only, all-inclusive resort brings a new brand and concept to the oceanfront property, which is located within Cancun’s Puerta del Mar community overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Puerto Cancun marina. Part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, Hyatt Vivid Cancun is designed around flexible, experience-driven stays, locally inspired programming and wellness.

All 416 accommodations offer ocean views, while guests looking for an upgraded stay can book the Vantage Club, which includes premium room categories, a private lounge, dedicated concierge service, exclusive dining experiences and enhanced amenities.
MULTIPLE RESTAURANTS AND BARS
Hyatt Vivid Cancun features seven restaurants and seven bars, with no reservations required.
Dining options include Mediterranean fusion at Mediterráneo, Pan-Asian cuisine at Akari, Italian favourites at Aglio, international selections at La Plaza, artisan coffee at Coco Café and premium dining at Vista Prime.
Lounges and bars include Amber Beach Bar, Cobalt, the rooftop Bar 360° and The Bloom Bar featuring craft cocktails and sweeping ocean views.
WELLNESS, RECREATION AND EVENTS
The Spa at Hyatt Vivid Cancun offers hydrotherapy, massages, facials and locally inspired treatments incorporating ingredients such as cacao, coconut and papaya.
The resort also has three pools – the Sky Pool, Relax Pool and Vivid Pool – plus pickleball and padel facilities, two surf pools and preferred access to an adjacent Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole golf course.
For groups, meetings and destination weddings, Hyatt Vivid Cancun offers 12,800 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including a ballroom, five meeting rooms and five breakout rooms.
Two oceanfront palapas provide additional event options. The Ocean Deck Palapa accommodates up to 120 guests, while the new Vivid Ocean Front Palapa has capacity for up to 300.
