Air Canada Rouge to fly handful of Air Canada’s Europe routes next summer

TORONTO — A number of Air Canada’s Europe routes will be operated by Air Canada Rouge next summer.

According to Aeroroutes, which tracks worldwide airline schedule and network changes, Air Canada service on the following routes will switch to Rouge with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft for 2027 …

  • Halifax – Brussels (as of June 17, 2027)
  • Montreal – Reykjavik (as of June 1, 2027)
  • Toronto – Ponta Delgada (as of June 17, 2027)
  • Toronto – Reykjavik (as of June 2, 2027; this route is already served by Rouge in summer 2026)

Earlier this year Air Canada introduced the first of its updated Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft at Air Canada Rouge, marking a key milestone in Rouge’s cabin renewal program.
