Tourism Ireland is adding a new member to the team. Jonathan Sargeant has recently joined the Toronto office and will serve as the new Trade Promotions & E-Marketing Executive. He will be responsible for managing Tourism Ireland’s trade promotions, E- Marketing/CRM activity and Business Tourism. Sargeant returns to Tourism Ireland having previously worked in the Toronto office for two years from 2011-2013. He has spent the past 14 months working as Marketing Specialist with Trafalgar Tours. Sargeant has a B.Sc. in Tourism Marketing and brings a wealth of experience in the travel industry with a range of skills across digital marketing, advertising and trade communications. “Last year the island of Ireland welcomed a record number of Canadian visitors following a significant increase in year-round air access,” said Dana Welch, Tourism Ireland Marketing Manager Canada.
