TORONTO — Intrepid Travel has promoted Caroline Tinsley to the newly created role of Head of Partnerships, Canada, reflecting the company’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence in the market.
In her new role, Tinsley will oversee Intrepid’s Canadian partnership strategy, with responsibility for building industry collaborations, expanding brand alliances, and driving long-term visibility for the company. She will report to Intrepid’s regional leadership team and lead a growing team of Key Partnership Managers as part of the company’s expanded Canadian structure.
“Caroline’s vision, energy, and drive will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of Intrepid’s partnerships in Canada,” said Christian Wolters, President of Canada at Intrepid Travel. “We are thrilled to have her leading this key area as we grow our presence and deepen our impact across the Canadian market.”
Tinsley previously worked as Global DMC Partnerships Manager, where she played a central role in developing scalable, purpose-led travel products and strengthening supplier relationships worldwide.
“Partnerships are at the heart of everything we do,” said Tinsley. “I’m excited to help shape Intrepid’s future in Canada by building relationships that fuel sustainable growth and inspire more Canadians to travel with purpose.”
Her promotion comes amid record growth for Intrepid in Canada. Year-over-year, Canadian bookings have increased 32%, leading the North American region. Domestic travel is also surging, with bookings to Canadian destinations up 97%, while East Coast Canada bookings have risen 118%, prompting the company to add new fall departures to meet demand.
Intrepid has also been investing in regional talent, with new hires on the West Coast and an increased emphasis on building local partnerships that support community-driven growth.
Tinsley officially began her new role on Sept. 22, with a phased handover of her previous global responsibilities already underway.
