Porter adding Ottawa-Vancouver nonstops effective July 26

TORONTO — Porter Airlines will add nonstop flights between Ottawa and Vancouver starting July 26.

The once daily roundtrip service will operate with Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, and will connect with Charlottetown, Halifax, Moncton, New York, Toronto-Pearson, Toronto-City and Thunder Bay through Ottawa. Flights depart Vancouver at 7:45 a.m., arriving in Ottawa at 4:03 p.m. On the return, flights depart Ottawa at 6 p.m., arriving in Vancouver at 7:37 p.m.

“Ottawa is positioned as a critical part of Porter’s growing North American network,” said Kevin Jackson, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Porter Airlines. “We will continue building our presence in YOW and providing a superior level of service and travel options for economy travellers.”

The new Ottawa-Vancouver route complements existing service between Toronto-Pearson and Vancouver. Up to five daily roundtrips will be available with Porter out of Vancouver this summer.

Porter will operate 10 nonstop routes to and from YOW as of July 2023.
