FORT LAUDERDALE — Industry veteran Kevin Froemming is leaving Playa Hotels & Resorts, where he was Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President.

Froemming joined Playa in 2013 as EVP and Chief Marketing / Sales Officer. He has served as CCO since early 2019. Froemming came to Playa from a 10-year stint at Unique Vacations Ltd., worldwide representatives of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts.

Playa made the announcement as part of an executive reorganization update.

Playa says Dean Sullivan has been promoted to Senior Vice President and will lead Playa’s sales and marketing efforts. Sullivan joined Playa in mid-2019 and was most recently VP Marketing & Public Relations. Before joining Playa, Sullivan was Chief Marketing Officer for Couples Resorts.

Also part of the reorganization, Playa has promoted Fernando Mulet to Chief Investment Officer. Danny Rose has been promoted to Senior Vice President with an expanded role of ecommerce, marketing, and advertising oversight. And Eeva Lindroos has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Revenue Management & Distribution.
