Toronto and Montreal on the list for TAP’s resumption of service

NEW YORK — TAP Air Portugal has announced the resumption of operations from all nine of its North American gateway cities, including Toronto and Montreal.

The airline currently operates 10 weekly flights to Lisbon from New York (Newark), six weekly from Boston, four weekly from Washington, DC (Dulles) and Toronto, and three weekly from San Francisco, Miami, Chicago and Cancun. It also operates weekly from Newark to Porto.

Next month in July, the airline will grow to twice-daily service to Lisbon from Newark and daily service from Boston, Toronto and Washington, D.C. Montreal will return in July with four weekly flights, Miami will grow to four weekly flight, and a second weekly Newark-Porto service will be added. These schedules will remain in effect through October.

With this expanded schedule, TAP is once again operating in all but one of its pre-COVID North American gateways, yet still back in all markets. New York’s JFK is not yet scheduled for return service but New Yorkers will still have twice-daily service to Lisbon from Newark, and twice-weekly flights to Porto.

Last year TAP implemented its TAP Clean & Safe program in line with guidelines from EASA, IATA, DGS and UCS. For more information go to https://www.flytap.com/pt-pt/recomendacoes-covid-19.
