TORONTO — The news reports coming in from Grand Bahama and the Abaco Islands are heartbreaking, and the images even more so.
TORONTO — Leeann Phayre-Mallo and David (Red) Hunt have been promoted to Vice President positions in their respective roles. Phayre-Mallo is now Vice President of Operations and Sales, and Hunt is now Vice President of Marking. The two will work as joint VPs from Lion World Travel’s head office in Toronto.

Phayre-Mallo has been part of the Lion World team since 2012, starting as a General Manager and also working as the Director of Product and Sales. Her 28 years of industry experience started at Thompsons Holidays as a junior consultant selling for South Africa. She moved to Evan Evans to manage the reservations & operations team. Later she worked as a Sales Manager for a luxury game lodge operator.

Hunt has been working in the tourism industry since 2003, and has a background in business and management consulting. He got hooked on travel after a trip to Madagascar. Prior to joining Lion World Travel, Hunt provided consulting and travel marketing services to tour operators in Canada, Ecuador, New Zealand, Peru and the U.S., with a focus on improving custom experiences for travellers and efficiency for business processes. He has travelled extensively in Africa, having visited Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Hunt can be reached at email@example.com.
