Watch this baggage handler do a fist pump while tossing luggage

PHOENIX — A baggage handler was caught on video tossing luggage into a bin with abandon, including a box of live fish.

Passenger @loudind.krueg filmed the employee after Southwest flight 133 landed in Phoenix from Tampa, and uploaded the video on Instagram on Tuesday. In the video, the baggage handler is seen carelessly throwing large boxes into a transport bin as they were being loaded off the plane. One box even appears to have the words ‘Live tropical fish’ written on it.

But what makes this guy different from all other rogue baggage handlers (sadly, this appears to be an ongoing trend in travel) is the fact that he’s made a game of it. He goes so far as to fist-pump the air after making a particularly ‘good’ throw.

Baggage handler: 1. Live tropical fish: 0.

Southwest Airlines has confirmed that the employee in question will be “retrained”, which we’re sure is comforting news to those poor fish.
