Warwick Hotels and Resorts reopen Cuba resorts following redesign

VARADERO — Warwick Hotels and Resorts (WHR) has announced the reopening of two hotels in Cuba – the Warwick Cayo Santa Maria Cuba and the Naviti Varadero – following extensive upgrades.

Reopening Nov. 10, the refreshed five-star, all-inclusive Warwick Cayo Santa Maria Resort located on the north shore of Cuba features 800 rooms and suites ranging from Deluxe Rooms with Garden, Pool or Sea View to the Warwick Suite with Balcony and Sea View. There are also seven restaurants, eight bars, one multi-purpose meeting room for business use and events, a wedding gazebo, fully equipped fitness centre, numerous leisure and sports activities and daily live entertainment at the theatre.

The opening of the resort marks a major step in the development of WHR, which established its presence in the Caribbean earlier this year with the October opening of Warwick Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

Soon to follow with an official reopening on Dec. 15 is the Naviti Varadero Resort in Varadero Cuba, formerly the Allegro Resort. After taking over management of this resort in 2015, WHR has upgraded it to become a four-star, all-inclusive family property featuring 443 rooms and Junior Suites, six bars and restaurants (five of which are included in the All-Inclusive concept), a fitness centre, spa, nightclub, Kids Club, tennis courts and theatre. It caters to families, couples, honeymooners and friends, not to mention wedding couples, as there are also wedding facilities and a dedicated wedding planner on site.
