SANTO DOMINGO, DR — Viva Wyndham Resorts is about to open its newest property, V Samaná, in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic, calling it “the first in its category to combine hip elegance and a relaxed, yet active and modern vibrant ambiance in an all-inclusive setting”.
The new adults-only beachfront resort will open in November 2015. The concept was developed in collaboration with Prohotel International, Inc.
“V Samaná will appeal to the growing number of modern, style-conscious travellers for whom atmosphere, attitude and experience are inseparable,” said Ettore Colussi, President of Viva Wyndham Resorts. “We are elevating the Viva Resorts all-inclusive experience.”
All 144 rooms at V Samaná will feature ocean or garden views, and 48 will be ‘Vibe Rooms’, with ocean views and private plunge pools. Outstanding features will include a ‘living wall’ vertical garden in the reception area, fresh-to-table-and-spa on-site vegetable and herb gardens and a market-style dining experience, offering various individual food specialty stations. Guests will be able to sip on brand name liquors and will have unlimited access to the hotel’s a la carte restaurants (no reservations required).
The property’s complimentary WiFi will keep tech-savvy guests connected, while those looking to relax and recharge will enjoy the hotel’s serene and sensory spa. The decor throughout will be marked by simple, modern elegance.
“This will be a unique and exciting alternative for active travellers to the region looking for authenticity,” according to Ettore Colussi, President of Viva Wyndham Resorts.
Guests at V Samaná will be able to choose from a full slate of “active entertainment” possibilities, including yoga and pilates classes, cocktail and cooking classes, windsurfing, and dancing and partying to the sounds of guest DJs at the resort’s beachside and hip cocktail bars. A unique Excursions Desk will help guests experience nearby treasures, such as swimming beneath the beautiful El Limon waterfall, or shopping and experiencing the nightlife of Las Terrenas.
