Visit Orlando welcomes over 300 travel advisors during Canada roadshow

TORONTO — Over 300 travel advisors got the inside scoop on the Sunshine State’s latest offerings during Visit Orlando’s cross-Canada training sessions.

Taking place in Calgary (Dec. 4), Toronto (Dec. 6) and Halifax (Dec. 8), the ‘Orlando Sunshine Tour’ featured partners and representatives from: Caribe Royale; Evermore Orlando Resort; Grayline; Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex; Marriott Village Orlando; Orlando International Airport; Rosen Hotels & Resorts; Sonesta ES Suites Orlando Hotels; Universal Orlando Resort; Walt Disney World Resort; and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.

Travel advisors who weren’t able to attend are invited to sign up for the Orlando Travel Academy, the destination’s comprehensive training tool that provides content on all aspects of Orlando. Each qualifying advisor who completes the course will become a certified Orlando Travel Expert.

The training sessions come on the heels of Visit Orlando’s new ‘Winter Doesn’t Exist in Orlando’ campaign in Canada, which highlights the state’s diverse range of attractions and experiences. Running now through March 24 on various digital display, social media and search engine marketing, the campaign aims to entire cold weather market residents to consider travelling to the ‘Theme Park Capital of the World.’
